I am really disappointed, came in for a quick stop off to order a takeaway baguette for lunch. Was told when I ordered and paid £6 for a ham, cheese and salad baguette that there was “a little wait on food” which I said was fine and expected a 10/15 minute wait maximum as the shop wasn’t even at full capacity. After around 25 minutes I asked for an update as I had been waiting for so long only to be told again it would be another 10/15 minutes. When I finally received my food I had been waiting for over half an hour and wasn’t offered any form of compensation when I questioned why it had taken this long to prepare a cold baguette. I feel that for a price tag of £6 this just isn’t acceptable.
We've enjoyed a number of lovely brunches here and always recommend it to friends/family. It can get busy quickly, so it's best to arrive early on weekends to secure a table. We love their avocado/poached eggs on toast, which is the best in Bedford! The selection of vegan cakes and sweet treats has always been great too. Sometimes you can be waiting a little while for the food but we don't mind waiting as we know it's worth it!
my first visit to the café today. I really enjoyed it. the tee for one was excellent. I loved the teepot. the staff was very friendly and helpful. the food was good. I loved the design of the place. the only thing I would say is that the prices were a bit high, but it doesn't matter, I'm coming back in a definitiw. So please we have a caffe at our door. I wish them all good.
Had the most amazing takeaway roast from here! Perfect sized portions and everything tasted amazing!! The instructions on how to reheat were super easy to follow! Thanks for the amazing roast guys just what we needed for the weekend!

Visited The Eatery for the first time and was very impressed. Good service and good food. Had the full English breakfast. All items nicely cooked. Lovely. Will be back.
Lovely coffee, relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff plus cheap prices to top it all off! In addition, a great range of food and cakes that all looks fresh and tasty.
Food and coffee. I had both here wow. Woman in mask serve food. Bagel? Is this one. Panini? Is this one. Full English? Hah.... Is this one. Recommended.
Took over 20 mins for a takeaway of 2plain coissants and a tea and a coffee absolutely hopeless didn't have a clue no idea of what was going on
