Did take out this time. Had the fried chicken and ribs. The chicken wasnt bad , the ribs had a good smoky flavor but were tough dry and overcooked. It was like eating pork jerky. I dont see a need for a cut in half grilled hamburger bun to be tossed on top. Gordon Ramsey wouldve face palmed at that. Great quiet place to eat. They have some great bbq and french dip sandwiches but they cannot make a pastrami sandwich very well
Been coming here for 25+ years. From the moment you walk in the smell of BBQ makes you feel at home. The staff is a little cranky at time but the service is always great. I have yet to come in here that it wasn't busy. No frills decor just really great food, at an affordable price, served by hardworking staff that have never disappointed me. I have been dining at The Embers since I was a child, and it has always been excellent. The prices became a bit steep last year, and I wish they hadn’t changed their fries. However, the entire menu is fantastic for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
