Make a reservation before you go, they are unfortunately having to limit capacity, not to worry though this culinary experience is exquisite. I love small intimate dining rooms, the interior decor is soothing, and you are never out of sight of staff for anything you might want. The menu is simple yet full of complicated flavor combinations that will tantalize taste buds. They make delicious cocktails, especially gin martinis, cosmos, and old fashions. We also dabbled with the wine, and enjoyed a buttery Pinot noir from Argentina, outstanding. We ordered the muscles and beet salad for appetizers. This restaurant in Elora is likely the top spot to dine at. The food, service, and atmosphere were all exceptional. My wife had the salmon salad and I tried the Evelyn burger. The salmon was cooked perfectly in the oven with a tasty pesto on top, and the salad was dressed nicely with vinaigrette. The Evelyn burger came with thinly sliced French fries that were perfectly salted and fried to a crispy, light yellow. For dessert, we enjoyed a warm brownie with whipped cream and raspberries, which was also delicious. My only suggestion would be to add some onions to the burger mix for a juicier result. I would rate this experience a 9 out of 10.
Very good French onion soup, probably the highlight of my meal. Escargot is ok, slightly underseasoned but still tasted decent. For the main, the Cornish hen meat was dry, sauce too overwhelming over the lightly seasoned chicken. Bouillabaisse linguine was better, I could tasted the shellfish, however bouillabaisse was a bit too thick, more like a sauce than soup, maybe because the overly abundance of tomatoes sauce? A bit disappointing that bread and butter are extra charges on the menu.
A nice restaurant with a compact menu. All the dishes we ordered are very well cooked and presented. I like the tart flavor from some of the pickled vegetables and mustard sauce in their dishes. Personally I think the food was a bit pricey for what it is, but it's still a great place to try if you are visiting Elora. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I had lunch at the Evelyn with my friends and I thought it was a good meal. Lunch meals come with either fries or house salad. The salad was good with a variety of different vegetables. My friend had escargot and it was ok. If I’m ever in Elora again I would return.
The service was outstanding! This is the only restaurant I have been to in a long time where they will split single orders into two portions, and they allowed our dog to sit with us on the patio. The trout pate and bouillabaisse were both delicious!

The ambience is great, Food prices are decent. We order pasta, escargot and chicken burger. It all tasted great. Service was excellent.
