Wow! This is the place to be on a Sunday night. Live music, some of the best jazz I've heard (we came here to see Don Byron). Acoustics are great, you get a good mix everywhere in the house, although it's too loud for conversation (more of a concert vibe than background dining music), which is great, because the music is where it's at. It's very dark in here during the show. We visited a weekday evening in the summer just to check it out. We were so surprised at how large the space was, and how you could walk the grounds in the back with a drink in hand and explore the different floors. Beautiful space, kind of surreal. We were not expecting a show as it was very tame and there were just about 10 people around, yet there were a few performers who seemed to be regulars and really enjoyed just playing together. This review is from before the Covid pandemic. The food was quite disappointing. I would recommend going for the drinks and entertainment instead. The service was very good, and the ambiance is alright. Overall, focus on the drinks and entertainment. The appetizers were either overcooked or lacking in flavor. I hope you find this helpful!
They request donations which is fine. But their suggested donation is $30. Bit outrageous considering the high cost of a meal and a $3.00 coffee. First time here and wow! I wish I lived closer to this restaurant. Comfy atmosphere, right next to a pretty scenic waterfall too.Friendly service, great food and fast.Super clean bathroom. Easy parking Excellent all around. Highly recommend.
A great Mid-Hudson venue/ restaurant/ concert hall. The atmosphere is relaxed unhurried, good service and likable customers. Make a rez ! Parking can be a little challenging, so take a breath and be patient
Great music venue with decent pub type food. Came with locals for a jazz jam session. Musicians are paid from the tips you designate in your food bill. You can also tip the musicians through the tip box.

This is a fantastic music venue with a rich musical history. The food is good, but I wouldn't visit solely for the dining experience. The waterfall outside is a nice added touch!
