Many places in Henley profess to having ‘The Best Breakfast in Henley’ nowhere has lived up to being anywhere close to how epically incredible this breakfast has been todayafter all, we’d all like to write our own reviews huh? Everything was cooked to absolute perfection, which is a huge testament to the chef. This was a brilliant find for us and conveniently embedded on the front of a really well-run family campsite on Marlow Road. The parking spaces are abundant and the property has many organised outdoor seats along with a children's playground. There are also interior seats together with a conservatory. Nice location. Food quite disappointing for the price. The vegan burger is mushy with no bite (it's a simple veggie mix rather than beans or soy so v. low protein), and the difference between the large and small roast was indistinguishable. However, the roasts themselves were just fine. Tea is served in a small pot, and the coffee didn't taste right. Ended up giving in to the desserts, which were ok but not particularly original or deeply flavourful. All in all, the food was fine, but it felt like there could have been more effort made to ensure you get what you pay for. Never make a review but this was shocking for the price. Maybe we caught them on a bad day. £66 for four breakfast wouldn’t of been a issue if was 10/10 Didn’t even get tomatoes and didn’t offer discount for not having them. £3 for half a glass of apple juice maybe wouldn’t be as bad if had small glasses.
We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. We ordered the vegan breakfast and the vegan superfood bowl, both of which could be made gluten-free upon request. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was laid-back.
