I had a delightful meal here with my mother, enjoying both vegetarian options: the three-bean chili and the spinach pancakes. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, thanks to both the pub owner and the other patrons. The facilities were clean and well-maintained. Despite the limitations of being tied to Hall & Woodhouse, the Badger Best beer was served in excellent, crystal-clear condition. This shows that the pub owner is truly skilled in his trade, demonstrating excellent cellar management and maintaining clean lines. I was very impressed and would be happy to return. On Saturday, November 19, 2016, we decided to drop in without a reservation. The atmosphere was lovely and warm, and the food was delicious and reasonably priced! It felt like a cozy local pub, with a great menu selection and even free entertainment from watching two dogs play. I would definitely visit again whenever I'm in the area!

Stopped off here for lunch on the way to the coast. Obviously very popular with the locals and a steady flow of visitors also. We found it by chance but would highly recommend it based on our experience. Very friendly staff, very good lunch menu with plenty of choice, a pleasant atmosphere and good food.

This restaurant and pub has a wonderfully warm and charming atmosphere, exuding a distinctly British vibe. The staff and service were incredibly friendly and accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and will definitely return whenever we have the opportunity.

Nev and Lesley provide a genuine country pub experience with their lovely Sunday carvery. My children enjoy the gardens and the delicious selection of home made deserts. All the staff are helpful and it has become our regular Sunday outing.

I had a fantastic evening at the Fargharson Arms open mic night. There was a great mix of music to dance to! The staff were delightful—friendly and easy to chat with, which made for a fun atmosphere. I will definitely be returning soon!
