We discovered this bar back in August and what a delight it was to meet Steve and Karen for the 1st time they made us feel so welcome and couldn't do enough to make us feel welcom so when we returned on good Friday for the easter weekend there was only 1 place to go and we wasn't disappointed the staff the prices and the atmosphere was superb great entertainment with karaoke on Friday and Saturday night and any sports you wanted to watch wasn't too much trouble then there was the dog buster what a cute little dog he was it's a venue we will always visit when we are down here from Rotherham so thanks again to you both and all your staff and Steve take care and look after yourself
Being North Norfolk born and bred, it is so refreshing to see and drink in a REAL local pub, for locals, that is not part of some rip-off, out of town chain! This is what pubs are about. Great prices, honest, fair, and sharing! I say 'sharing ' as it is clear that people.... customers.... regulars.... are what makes this, and what SHOULD make all pubs, but particularly those in our county, as so much is being taken away from us, as with my home town of Sheringham. Well done The Feathers! Will be back, and may even move here, as what we see is reality in Great Yarmouth, and not takeover from those out of town! Cheers!
This pub is a little gem , just off the town centre main road so you need to look it up. It’s what I call a traditional pub. Lovely little beer garden with outside sports screen. Plenty of tvs inside as well. Feels like a locals pub , but everyone made to feel welcome. Excellent service, friendly landlord and great prices. My friends went on the Saturday night and said the karaoke was brilliant , I went on the Sunday before and after racing and really liked the atmosphere. Would definitely recommend a visit and shall definitely return there again next year.
I started going to this pub last year and it's brilliant! Fantastic landlord and landlady Steve and Karen, fantastic staff, really friendly customers, cheap drinks no trouble, great atmosphere. Totally brilliant karaoke with Steve who can certainly belt the tunes out! Made to feel like I'm a valued customer even though I don't drink much! My singing seems to be liked too! My wife sister and myself , visited on a Wednesday afternoon and had one of the best days ever , The landlord and landlady were amazing, the karaoke was the best I have ever seen , we are here on holiday , and this has been the highlight so far, so we will be going back on Saturday night, also the price of drinks great , pint ale £2.75 . If you’re in Yarmouth it’s a must for all ages
We arrived in the afternoon to such a welcome reception from Karen Steve. Happened to be 'race day '. What an afternoon!. Brilliant! These two entertaining personalities know how to run a 'proper ' pub. To inform everybody of everything would be detrimental to this wonderful couple. Go try it yourselves. You won 't be disappointed! .
We popped in for one drink and we stayed all night . Thoroughly enjoyed the amazing karaoke singers they were all fantastic. Steve and Karen made us feel very welcome as did the local visitors especially The General, Jane, Tina and family. The pub is very clean and very welcoming. We will definitely be back.
We spotted the pub on the way to the market shops, so glad we stopped. The pub is lovely, clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. We sat in the garden area, which was full of plants, flowers, and a T.V. It is dog-friendly and cheap drinks, which is why we had to stay longer. We will be back. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
beautiful personal, friendly customers. beautiful and quiet in comparison to the wetherspoons around the corner that was too busy and loud. garden is a beautiful sun protection and they played 90s music.
