I've visited this restaurant several times, and it’s clear that they genuinely care about their food, customers, and staff. The menu features a collaborative assortment of dishes crafted by various employees who are passionate about what they create. During a recent date night, we chose to sit at the bar, which is our preferred dining experience. Throughout the evening, we could hear the lively conversations behind the bar, and at one point, the bartender (I believe his name was Dominic) asked us how we liked a new item on the menu—a fried tofu dish served with a tangy, spicy, and sweet relish. We were eager to try this restaurant after reading the reviews, but unfortunately, it didn't meet our expectations. Our group of six unanimously felt that the food was only mediocre at best. We were shocked to receive burnt bread, and the presentation of the dishes left much to be desired. On the positive side, the service was quick and attentive.
Outstanding cuisine with a distinctive menu, complemented by an excellent and extensive selection of wines. If I had the authority, I would award this restaurant a Michelin star. Don't miss the scallops with creamed corn; they're fantastic! The service is superb, and the ingredients are incredibly fresh!
Fifth String is a neighborhood gem. I had the Pappardelle which was buttery and absolutely delicious and masterfully prepared. The bread with tallow butter is also amazing. Beautiful cocktails. We ate there twice in two weeks! Highly recommended for foodies and non-foodies alike. A favorite.
Fifth String is consistently excellent. I have never come away from a meal there with any thought other than that it was fantastic. The menu has a great range with very interesting and delicious flavors. It's one of my favorite restaurants in Denver.

All the food was excellent. Our server was very friendly and did an fantastic job of explaining items on the menu. We will return.
