What an absolute delight!! I’d been meaning to pop in for a while and it was my parents coming across to take me out for lunch that proved to be the perfect excuse to visit. I’ll be completely honest, for the first fifteen minutes I wasn’t sure what was happening and it all seemed a little bit unorganised and slow and we started to worry as we were on a deadline to begin with. However... it soon came to light that it was pretty much a one woman show with some help from a lady that had some learning difficulties and wasn’t particularly comfortable front of house. This is a great spot to stop by for a tasty cup of coffee. They have a variety of drinks to choose from, but their freshly baked cakes tend to sell out fast. They also offer a nice selection of snacks and lunches to accommodate different dietary restrictions. Additionally, they have a variety of jams, pickles, chutneys, and other items available for purchase to take home.
Lovely range of food and drinks with something for everyone. All the food is handmade fresh to serve as well as offering a variety of other products which are perfect to take home or give to someone as a gift. The staff are extremely welcoming, and give a great atmosphere to the cafe. Definitely a place where you can go and come away with new friends.
We stopped here for coffee and cake. I had a locally made croffin (croissant and muffin cross) which was delicious. My husband had a ganola bar also very good and packed with fruit and nuts. Dog friendly as well. Staff were also very friendly
