We returned to Fine Foods for a delightful afternoon tea with my lovely Mum and we were not disappointed! The sandwiches were delicious, accompanied by a smoked salmon blini, quiche, and a fantastic sausage roll. For dessert, we enjoyed a rich mousse, a raspberry tart, a chocolate brownie, a lavender biscuit, and a lemon scone, along with macarons and meringues. We indulged in as much afternoon tea as we wanted. The cafe has a charming and welcoming atmosphere, and the staff were friendly and engaging. We will definitely return and only wish we lived closer!
Arriving early in Stamford, we stumbled upon this fantastic café for breakfast. A kind gentleman served us and accommodated our requests to customize our cooked breakfast. The tea was delicious, served in a proper teapot with real tea leaves. Our meals arrived hot and tasted fresh, from the eggs to the sausages that were clearly high-quality. The granary seeded toast was exceptional. The prices were average for breakfast, but the food was definitely above average. The restroom was clean, albeit up a few steps. Overall, a lovely dining experience.
I visited on a Sunday morning when quite quiet and the young ladies serving were very friendly and my coffee was excellent. My gluten free toast was 'okay ' but four very thin and small slices with three small pats of butter and because of this quite expensive. I will definitely go back for a coffee though as it really was excellent. Hot and with alternative 'milk ' readily available.
Fantastic cafe in the heart of Stamford. Luckily we got a table as it was busy and you can tell that it's popular. People just kept coming and trying and you can tell why. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Great coffee. Great food, I ordered the club sandwich and my Wife got Bacon, Brie and Cranberry panini. No complaints from us, keep up the good work. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The breakfasts were excellent beautifully cooked using great produce, the best cooked breakfast we all have had in a long time. The staff were very friendly and happy to do some ‘swaps’ with the breakfast items. We would all definitely recommend this hidden gem. It was so good we immediately booked for the following day. Thank you.
We had a very nice lunch here on Sunday. There is a choice of indoor outdoor seating. I had the halloumi roasted veg skewers with salad sweet potato fries. Delicious large portion. My husband had a chicken club sandwich with skin on fries, again delicious a large portion. Would return if we are in Stamford again.
Some people might argue against recommending a good place because next time you visit, there may not be any available tables. However, I must say that the bacon sandwich was the best I have had in a long time and the pancakes were fresh and cooked perfectly. We will definitely be returning!
Called in for lunch, great friendly service and excellent food and coffee, the portions are generous and my club sandwich was super tasty, served with a side salad, slaw and chips. Highly recommend and would definitely return when back in the area. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Really good , tasty well presented food the risotto was delicious and we ordered sweet potato fries as a side tasty! Friendly staff. Would recommend. Cakes looked good but we were too full to order them!!!
