We went to this pub for an evening meal. The TV was on and competing for attention with the multiple speakers which were blaring out disco music, even in the loos.The staff were friendly and turned off the speaker right above our table when we...said we could not hear each other talking. I think this might be a nice pub if you are part of the local youth and just above legal drinking age but it is not a good place to eat dinner. The food was poor to low quality and all seemed frozen and tasteless. I had prawns for a starter. 5 tasteless frozen prawns in a tasteless batter for over £7 very disappointing. Why don't you get some fresh prawns and make some batter rather than serving the cheapest...
My son planned a dinner for us with his friend at a restaurant we had never been to before. Due to Covid restrictions, the restaurant had a designated entrance and seating area, along with hand sanitizers and tissues available. A staff member guided us to our table, which was well-spaced from others that were reserved. Despite being short-staffed due to an ill employee, the service was still prompt and welcoming. Our server, who also tended to the bar, was efficient and friendly when taking our food orders. The food, though standard pub fare, was tasty and served hot.
This is a lovely pub which has been well laid out for covid. It is pet friendly as well. If you South African you'll really enjoy the ambience as well as the likely hood of bumping into other saffas. The food is really good, we had breakfast but I'm looking forward to trying their other menus. Great pot of tea too fantastic service. You will need enter through the entrance near the car park and exit through the entrance closer to the road (but not onto the road)

My wife and I visited this pub early evening on 3 occasions midweek. The food was excellent value for money and served by very friendly staff. Would highly reccomend this place and will be going back next time we are in the area.

Come here for food with my girlfriend at the start of January, food menu has plenty of choices with gluten free options for my girlfriend. We we’re both very happy with a meal and will definitely return!
