Very limited menu, the Terragon Chicken I 've had twice, it 's good, though can be small. First visit was great, second visit not so much. My beef is there 's a huge preamble of sanitizing hands, and precautions, masks that we follow , but it seemed the servers (both) were always reaching over us, hovering uncomfortably close, crossing safe boundaries, and messy, dribbling wine (on my shirt) or splashing sauce while clearing plates without a 'sorry ', very clumsy, it got rather ridiculous. So I 'm saying practice what you preach and please be more careful. Our other friends won 't return, but we will go again. I 've read that the duck is supposed to be good, but I 've never seen on the menu....
The Hidden Gem of Pitt Meadows. Who knew you could find such elegant fine dining tucked away in the heart of Pitt Meadows? I love this place. The food is delicious. They obviously have a great chef.I was there recently with my fiance. He ordered the steak and I ordered a seafood paella dish. My fiance's steak was so tender he didn't even need a steak knife and my dish was perfectly spiced and flavored. The service was good too. Our waitress was quite lovely.It's a good place to go for a date. Second visit and excellent as per usual!. Excellent GENUINE service not the fake fawning over you, that you get from the Keg or Cactus Club, here the servers remember you and leave you to have a great meal with friends or family. You certainly wont see them doing the SUPER cheesy server routine of sitting down at your table and chatting with you.... <br/ <br/ Food is excellent. This restaurant is fine dining at reasonable prices. Last time we had the pan-fried calamari with yogurt dill sauce, and our entrees included hand-made ravioli in the most intensely flavoured tomato sauce I've ever had, pork shank that fell off the bone, and crispy chicken and risotto. All three were fantastic. Wines are reasonably priced and the service is excellent. We also tried three desserts including an inspired chocolate trifle dish with fresh berries which is phenomenal. The atmosphere is laid back, classy and private. Worth the trip!
5 1/2 YEARS after moving to Pitt Meadows, we finally checked out the dimly lit Firehall Bistro romantic, perfect, and with amazing food from start to finish Lisa went past this place going to and back from work on the Westcoast Express where's a good place to eat???? BLOWN AWAY!!!! Delicate, amazing excargots, best halibut ever, and a peach for dessert OK not a real peach, a white chocolate thing that LOOKED like a peach, with peach liquor inside a great meal from the moment we stepped foot inside!
Firehall bistro is a very good restaurant! You will not be disappointed. The food is great, nice atmosphere,great service, awesome drinks with top shelf alcohol. I'm not a snob but high end booze is better!! This is a special occasion place or a regular haunt.
We love this place. A lot of comments on here note small portions but we've never left hungry. The food is well worth the price you pay in portion and flavour. My only issue is that I tend to get stuck ordering the same thing because it's sooooo delicious.
Really great food. Very expensive though! I would only come here maybe once a year on a special occasion because of how expensive it is. The portion wasn't that big either, a little disappointing there. All in all though I would go back again.
Delicious. We went to the Firehall Bistro for a wedding anniversary. The food was delicious and the service was very attentive. We would definitely recommend and will be going back again soon.
