This is a cute little shop which offers kwartha ice cream but also gelato and sorbets, some of which are even vegan (made without soy)! We hit this place up on one of the first nice days of the Spring and there was a small line but a line nonetheless. The staff was all super friendly but super busy so you're sort of rushed through a little bit. My brother in law had plans to try some of the gelatos but my sister told him no because of the line up. Flavourwise, we were all pretty happy with what we got. My 2.5 year old nephew was excited about his blue unicorn gelato with sprinkles. My sister got chocolate. My brother in law ordered the best, vegan salted caramel gelato, which was so creamy!...
Homemade gelato/sorbet in beautiful Bronte Village! I believe they have ice cream too, but it's Kawartha from what I've read. I had a cup with 3 different flavours (coffee, hazelnut, pistachio) of gelato and they were all delicious! Hazelnut was my favourite. None of them tasted fake or overly sweet. I loved the texture! The only reason why they don't get 5* is because you don't get the same experience as you do pre-COVID/other ice cream shops. They have a table set up outside on the porch with a blackboard of the flavours and you order from there. You cannot go into the shop. This is understandable as they do get busy with lines down/off the porch. Go earlier in the day to avoid the line!
Absolutely delicious. I tried all the flavours I thought I'd like (most of them). Everyone was super friendly and knowledgeable. Ended up getting the Vegan Raspberry, Dark Chocolate, and salted caramel. They work great together and satisfy my craving for fruity dark (but not too much) and more sweet salted caramel. Having so many vegan options was really awesome! I used a lot of the little spoons trying things so I'm happy they're compstable! If you asked me to pick one food for the desert island right now I'd say this exact combo of Gelato.
This place is fantastic! The customer service is excellent, and their gelato, sorbet, and ice—made fresh in-store—are bursting with flavor like nothing I've ever tasted. I especially enjoy their unique flavor combinations, like strawberry basil. Although we now live in a different province, The Flavour Fox is always our first stop whenever we're back in Ontario. We tried the Nutella Purple, one in a cone and the other in a cup. It was delicious, but I felt it was a bit pricey—our total came to $20! The taste was good, and the place was clean with very friendly staff. One downside was the lack of parking nearby; my husband had to stay in the car while I quickly went in to get the ice cream.
The Flavour Fox is forever my favourite ice cream/ gelato place in Oakville. Tons of variety, always made fresh in house! It has never disappointed me. The staff are lovely, Sylvia, who took our order was wonderful. Quite pricey for some dessert, but I think well worth it! P.S I STRONGLY recommend the passion fruit cheesecake
Nutella salted peanut butter flavours were decent: smooth rich, but the flavours were muted, especially Nutella. There's a lot of vegan selections here.

Amazing Gelato! The portions might seem small but trust me it's a good amount for gelato! I would highly recommend this place!
