This is the perfect spot for lunch! Flinderstreet, a small family-run shop, is a hidden gem in Chino. Every time we visit, they surprise us with their sandwiches and delectable soups and pastries. I have dined at expensive restaurants all over the world, but Flinderstreet is on another level with its reasonable prices, generous portions, and exceptional customer service. Despite being a small shop, it exudes warmth and hospitality. The husband and wife owners often come out to chat with customers, getting to know them and showing gratitude for their support. We cannot speak highly enough of this place and will continue to return.
This restaurant is a pretty cool spot. The sandwich I had, the turkey panini with salad, was really good. My wife ordered the spaghetti which was also tasty. However, we found the prices to be a bit on the higher side, especially $12 for a sandwich without a drink. The service was decent, although not exceptional. The atmosphere was just okay. Overall, it's a good place to try out for lunch, but be prepared to spend around $30-50 per person. I recommend trying their sandwiches or the chicken pesto panini.
Flinderstreet Cafe is a small family-owned restaurant with mouthwatering food. It is truly a hidden gem in the area. I have dined here numerous times and it never disappoints. Even my in-laws, who are selective about their food, loved this place and we always make sure to visit whenever they are in town. The owners are incredibly welcoming and kind. I absolutely adore this restaurant!
Love this place! There’s outdoor seating so I can bring my dog. We got the Italian grinder, veggie panini, Italian mozzarella panini, steak and cheese meat pie. Meat pie was my fav for sure but the sandwiches are solid. The owner is super sweet and friendly and gave us cookies at the end of our meal. We’ll be back for sure. I was quite disappointed by this restaurant. My family and I visited over the weekend and tried the Chicken Parmesan, but something was off with the flavor. It turned out that the mozzarella used in the dish was spoiled, leading to a bad experience. Unfortunately, this made me sick and I ended up vomiting once I got home.
The service was excellent! The restaurant had a cozy, locally owned feel, and the sandwiches, pesto chicken, and grilled chicken, were quite tasty. While not super gourmet, they hit the spot. A nice touch was the cute cookies they gave us after our meal. I would definitely return if I find myself in the area again.
