Gluten free choices attracted us here, and the food itself was great when it arrived but few hiccups along the way..Firstly, probably not a place to go with kids on a Saturday tea time, pretty loud. Friendly atmosphere but just too loud to relax and enjoy our food. Placed order hoping for pizza and side for £10 (Sat offer advertised clearly on website), to be told by server that deal is no longer on. When inputted order into till, promotion applied automatically then they took it off. Didn’t argue it as just felt out to enjoy ourselves and didn’t want a fuss, but find it strange neither server or manager aware of trading standards law that you can’t falsely advertise! Firstly I want to say I really don’t want to give a negative review for this place. I have been coming in since it reopened and it was better than it has been since then until more recently. Came here last night with some friends, most of which hadn’t been before and once again they had run out of the most obvious stuff for a pub to have. No ice, no brandy and flat coke to name a few. When we queried the flat coke the lad went off to change the gas but came back saying they had run out. Now surely gas for your mixers is a basic in any pub!?? At which point we asked for a refund as the drinks were undrinkable like that. Such a shame as this isn’t the first time and seems to be quite a regular...
Local pub only for locals!! If you love standing at the bar while the barman serves locals behind you then this pub is right up your street, went in last week same day and exact thing happened with a different barman, ordered a round and waited ,another local came in from outside and my order was put to one side while they were served even though they weren’t in the building at the time of him asking what I would like? Won’t bother again,thought I’d given them the benefit of a second chance,really wish I hadn’t and won’t bother again..
So disappointed with the Flying Couch lately. This pub has the potential to be great but over the last few months stock levels have been low, food is hit or miss and on a quiet Saturday, when there's only three people in the pub, the bar tender would rather chat than clean up. The place is looking so dirty which is such a shame after the recent lavish makeover

Stopped in whilst waiting to meet friends and had a few pints (very well kept) and one of their famous pizzas having seen them go out. Honestly the best pizza I've ever had and far better than the other pizza places around there
1st time we called in this pub and you can tell from the set out money has been well spent here. The seating is ample, the prices are reasonable the way the pub looks, we will be back to enjoy their hospitality
Lockdown food delivery (delivered to reddish)....absolutely lovely ...well packed, well presented, super tasty . Highly recommend and will definitely use again whilst we can during lockdown.
the chef makes his own coating for the chicken and it is severed with many different choices of dips, the burgers and hot dogs are from hazeldines local butchers. the service is excellent.

It was a lovely sunny day and was looking forward to a nice Gon and Tonic in there fabulous beer garden but it was shut . Apparently they don't open until 5pm . Very dissapointed
First visit for Sunday lunch with the family. Food great, service excellent and a lovely atmosphere inside
