Really nice pub. The roast was lovely. The car parking was too small so actually getting into a space was tough along with leaving it while having someone close behind you because they want the space. The coffee was too weak but other than that I would recommend the roast to anyone. The service too was really nice. Dogs are only allowed in one half of the pub. The restaurant was put in such a way that it would fit in as many people as possible so it was quite tight and quite loud too. Conversation was very tough on our table due to the noise .
We had a table for two at 12:15 PM, and our server, Louise, was excellent. She took our drink orders quickly, and we decided to go for the carvery, which was superb (please excuse the photo, my food stack wasn't the best). After our meal, it got a bit chilly, but Louise kindly offered to move us to a different table for two for fifteen minutes so we could enjoy a coffee in comfort. Overall, it was a lovely lunch. We just had a wonderful Sunday carvery here. It's not easy to find a good vegetarian carvery, but the nut roast I tried was excellent—perfectly seasoned and accompanied by a lovely selection of vegetables. My family enjoyed their meat dishes as well, and there was plenty of food (my son even went back for seconds). The service was fantastic, and the pub is located in a beautiful setting surrounded by trees.
We had a great time! The food was delicious and even better. The staff was very friendly, though it seemed like they were dealing with some challenges. The many tables with jars and dishes did make the place feel a bit cluttered. However, the food and beer were excellent, and the garden is well-kept and quite special. I would definitely come back! A wonderful little pub! Wonderful selection of food and drink and a very cosy atmosphere. Will be going again! The food was well cooked, full of flavour and surged well. The pub looked amazing and twinkly lights everywhere made it very picturesque.
This is a delightful dog friendly pub with a lovely space inside and pleasant garden backing on to prime dog walking land. Food is gastro pub, little pricey but you definitely get what you pay for.. Delicious! I would highly recommend a visit
We often go for a Sunday carvery as its probably as close as you going to get to a home made roast dinner. The food is delicious, the service is great and it has a lovely setting. If you not going on a s Sunday the ribs are a winner too!

fantastic pub/ery in the forrest away ****. the personal was friendly and the menu is very diverse. I had the baked camenbert then the chicken sluice. very delicious!
