Let’s face it, there is not a lot happening in Fawkner in terms of the food scene outside of kebabs (and frankly there are better options for that nearby). Great place in Fawkner to meet friends for breakfast or lunch. It is very reasonably priced Italian fare with breakfast items up to $6, and lunch fare up to $12. Buy a Ciabatta roll with choice of filling. Home made muffins and cake very reasonably priced, as are the Italian style Biscuits. I found the staff cheerful and friendly. The cafe faces north and seats up to about 15 people inside with a couple of tables on the footpath outside. I visited this restaurant for dinner and had a lovely experience. We've always relied on this place for catering our events, and they have never let us down! If you're looking for authentic Italian cuisine, this is the place to go. I highly recommend them to everyone. We've never had any complaints about their food or service. It's truly a wonderful family-run establishment!
new in the neighbourhood we were above the moon to discover this jewel of a caffe to the corner of our house. we had an amazing breakfast and could not believe the prizes $12 for smashed avo on toast with iron! You don't understand that in collingwood. the coffee was excellent, and the service was friendly and relaxed. our new local and we could not be happier.

No thrills cafe offering delicious, simple inexpensive food. Great coffee friendly staff. The vegetarian piadina was delicious- very filling. The scotch fillet steak sandwich was generous in size, tender tasty. Saturday mornings from 12pm they serve a hot porchetta roll with crackle a side of French fries for about $12-hubby loved it. Definitely worth a visit.
The coffee and staff at this restaurant are really great. However, they should consider extending their opening hours to attract more customers. I had a delicious focaccia sandwich with pastrami and rocket for lunch. It was fantastic! I hope they consider opening on weekends as well.
The restaurant offers comforting, high-quality food and delicious coffee. It is a wonderful hidden gem, with outstanding customer service. The food is prepared to order and is fresh and flavorful.
I had the most fabulous apple pastry here. It was so light and crispy and delicate and buttery with soft, sweet apple filling. Absolutely sensational, can’t wait to return! :

I recently tried out this wonderful new cafe as a meeting spot. The coffee was superb, the homemade treats were delectable, and the space had a lovely, bright atmosphere.
All of their pasta dishes are incredible! The staff is also very friendly. I've dined here a dozen times.
