exceptional customer service, unforgettable generousity and a full English breakfast we are still nostalgic. the staff and the owner of fountain tavern treated us like family and offered all the comforts of a great stay on the answering of all those we had, patient at check-in and check-out, and special touches for my birthday stay, which I will not soon forget. 100% recommend this to anyone who stays in cornwall. not only for the closeness to local sights and beaches, but for the people themselves we are a joy to know and experience. Thank you!

I stayed at this restaurant for two nights in August 2021 during a longer trip and I have to say it is the friendliest place I have ever stayed! The rooms are beautiful, clean, and comfortable, but it is the staff that really make this place special. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay in Cornwall so unforgettable.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Fountain Tavern. All staff was extremely kind, helpful and polite. My husband stayed 2 nights and we found the room cosy and clean. The location is also great as it is 10 minutes walk or less from the seafront and 5 minutes walk from the high street. Highly recommended!

My visit in September 2021 the stay was amazing. Friendly and caring staff who valued our stay and were always helpful even just for the one night we stayed. I stayed in Penzance for a couple of nights and booked this place at the last minute. Check-in was easy, the staff were friendly, and the room was clean and quiet. The continental breakfast was a great way to start the day. I have no complaints.

Took temporature on entry, staff were very pleasant and attentive, took orders and brought your drinks to the table, always checking if you needed anything, customer's were very friendly. Pleasant enjoyable evening all round.

If you're searching for a fantastic neighborhood pub, this is the best in Penzance. They have a great selection of beer on tap and a hardworking, friendly bar staff.
