This was a special anniversary dinner, and despite hearing some mixed reviews from friends, we decided to give it a try. The ambiance and décor were impressive, but the service, food quality, and seating comfort left much to be desired. The bench seating was uncomfortably high compared to the table height, making it difficult to relax. While the appetizers were delicious, the main dishes were a disappointment. After being let down by 1 local restaurant we saw the sign for The Fox Inn so turned off the ,main road to find this restaurant. We travelled down this country dead end road for quite a distance before we finally found any road signs...for the pub. Once in the car park we went inside and asked the question do you do food tonight and the answer to our ears was yes. We ordered our drinks then looked at the menu , we ordered the sea bass and the Fox burger . we rely on the fox inn and hoped to get a snack. it was the paradies, the best pub I've been visiting for a long time, suggesting that we had no time to stop longer. right next to the m40 we didn't want to. to stop the bicester services, so a track went down a short distance and found the fox on a small track. what a waste. the renter welcomed us in and was friendly and helpful. the snack we had was delicious and well cooked. the pub soldiers let us feel at home, such a scandal that we live 150 miles away. lunch is highly recommended, but they need to look for the pub.
Came here with friends for a pub lunch and couldn't be happier they chose this place. The owners are friendly and there is a really great atmosphere from the minute you enter. The food is great good choices and proper pub grub burgers/...scampi/ steak etc but all beautifully done with the most amazing chips I shall be dreaming of them for some time! Desserts were also very good choice of 6 and all large portions at a reasonable price. I think if I lived closer I would be here all the time!

this village pub has managed a take-out food service while covid-19 lockdown for the village. many regular menu items plus specials per week. all with the usual 5 stars qaulity and worth for money. the specials were great, and I am sure most villagers agree. that this was normal in soulders during these times. from the fox souldern crew has a worth for the village!
I had another enjoyable evening at The Fox, where the food was delicious and portions were generous. The Thai cuisine is flavorful, and I appreciated being able to customize the level of spiciness in my dish.
I have made an evaluation for this restaurant, but have it on the hotel review and cant remove it. everything here was superb in every sight worth finding everything excellent
The food and service at this restaurant are outstanding. The ambiance is incredible, and I highly recommend it. It's superb.
