Today was an emotional day for my family, we literally stumbled over this pub. the personal was very understanding, eating and wein excellent! they have put our day right!. cannot wait to return. many thanks to their 2 young ladies for their friendliness!
Lovely food (Sunday roast) a couple of weeks ago one early evening. Wanted to retire to the bar only to be told the bar had shut! 2 or 3 couples still sat in there. Had starters, main, drinks and liquer coffee, so we spent good money, but refused a drink.
great welcome in a beautiful inn from the country about 15 minutes from calne. beautiful room and very quiet. the food was delicious, both the evening meal and the breakfast will go back.
Nice pub. Landlady was very helpful. Reasonable price alcohol. Large back room. Didn't try the food but if it's as good as the beer it should be great.
Great outdoor space, busy bustling pub with fantastic atmosphere and a large selection of premium drinks, especially good wine list.
I thought that was in order, but the choice was bad, especially the sweet menu very poor would not hurry.
Sunday Lunch was amazing fantastic service quick and well worth a visit booked again already
