Service was excellent. Our server couldn 't have been more courteous, informed, and competent. Excellent. The atmosphere was less than appeasing. We wanted to sit outside. It was a beautiful evening. As we walked up to the reception, we passed by the outside seating area. Most tables had obviously accumulated dust dirt. Very unappealing. We opted to sit inside. There were no other customers in the dining room. Duh! I was with out of town family. Food portions were huge. Two entrees were okay. One was the special of the day. The other I can 't remember. I had the shrimp and grits. A dish I love. It was so salty I only could only eat less than a quarter of the large portion. When we were asked...
Cheyenne is an amazing server. She is so personable, making sure you don’t feel like you’re just a table she is helping but more of a friend. When we initially got to the restaurant we were set on sitting outside. She put us at a table near the fan because the extreme heat, moved the fan to be at a better angle and then helped up go inside because nature was attacking ?. Extra bread with an incredible butter was brought out and our glasses were always full. Highly recommend the seafood linguine. An amazing spread of seafood with a light and fresh sauce. Parking: Parking lot is off a main high way, be careful when approaching the restaurant and use your turn signals!!
I was really excited about finally getting a chance to eat at The Gables after passing by it all the time. Took to the family there for Mother's Day dinner and unfortunately did not live up to expectations. We all thought the food was ok but not great. Tasted like good wedding food which is not what you expect for the price paid. In addition our server made us feel constantly rushed with every interaction. Once we saw the tip placed on automatically, it was clear why. Really had high hopes.
Waited at our table over 20 mins without service. Short ribs dried out. Pork chop dry and chewy. Chairs were the most uncomfortable ever. 1 bus girl had leather thong bracelet which dipped into my meal when she reached across the table. We attended an event at The Gables for our friends Anniversary and what a remarkable experience we had!! Beautiful atmosphere, great food and EXCELLENT customer service from the Bartender Shannon! She was super friendly and made our Mai Tai drinks perfectly!? We definitely will be back to visit her!
The food was absolutely delicious! We dined on the patio, which offered a fantastic atmosphere, and the service was exceptional. I can't wait to return!
The mushroom soup is exceptional. The charcuterie is delightful as well. The bar is beautifully designed, and the atmosphere is very relaxing.

The good and service was great. However it was so loud I could hardly hear the person across the table and I had to tell to be heard.
