Overall very good experience. Great atmosphere. Enjoyed sitting in bar area. Arrived minutes and unfortunately it took another minutes to get seated BUT the hostess and management made it right comped a few drinks and dessert and paid plenty of attention to us. We went for the Fish Chips and it was wonderful. Appetizers were great. All in our party loved it. Highly recommend
In every good review there is an aspect (or aspects) of the visit that makes it so; for this visit, it was the Maitre D. Admittedly, I erred in thinking that the reservation was for outside seating. He kindly and quickly was able to save our family's Sunday evening dining experience. Also, try the "Gage G" one of the best cocktails I've had in awhile
We ate at The Gage years ago on a visit to Chicago. We dined there again last night and found it to be the wonderful restaurant that we recalled. From the time we entered until we left, the personnel were friendly, caring and thoughtful. Food was excellent

The Oktoberfest special apple and smoked chicken salad is excellent. Our server was lovely. A very good lunch experience
