Ok, let's start from what's good: Crevettes, oysters and the surroundings. If you can get one of the outside tables, it's stunning (you have to fight for them! . Inside a lot less. Problem is that the fries that come with the crevettes are really bad (pre cooked frozen I guess and this in France is not something you can easily forgive and the bread that comes with the oysters is the worst supermarket bread you can imagine. Prices are very high, you can't easily spend less than 40€ per person and with this cheap service and plastic dishes is not something that can be forgiven. We went twice a week and we loved the food, location and vibe. Some patience is required because the service is not great. Many are required. Everyone turns open in the restaurant and there are two waiters who are finished with the crowd. We waited an hour before our order. Our order was taken to one of the two waiters only after the French wipe and then the order was not properly taken. We would still definitely recommend if you are in the area as one of a kind. Remember to take cash as they don't take credit cards.
3 visits to 7 days and we stayed 40 minutes away, so 100% worth it. Relaxed and very rustic... think sandy flip-flops and salty fingers from the beach. Simple Sautéed Shrimps and some of the best frits in France. One of our favorites in Medoc. We're not going anywhere else for dinner in this area, and this is the ONLy place we're going. With children or with friends... c’est super!
