WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! The airport shuttles for hotel pickups were all happening at gate 2 for Hilton hotels and many other hotels. However, none for the Hilton Garden Inn, so I called, Mackenzie said wait 30 minutes. I waited, still no shuttle. I called back, she said they are coming. After waiting an entire hour, I called back again, and she told me to walk to gate 5, go across the street, walk through a hotel lobby, cross the street again, and wait for another shuttle which runs every 30 minutes. I explained that I am in a wheelchair and cannot do all of that. I am disabled, and all these other hotel shuttles are coming to gate 2, why can't your shuttle? She said it's not conv...
Overall a good stay. Clean surroundings and rooms. Free shuttle to and from the airport. Good value. However, it is locater in a secluded area with not much around to do or see. So if you don’t have a vehicle you can be relegated to the hotel. If you want to see more of Chicago you are a little away from the downtown areas (30-35 min Uber ride). This costs me $20-$30 each way). Quite costly.One of my main concerns was the breakfast option. They have a continental breakfast but it is not complimentary. That differentiation is not explicitly made clear. When I asked why I am receiving a bill they pointed to a little sign on the wall. So even the continental part of the breakfast option is bill...
I had a great stay (4 nights at the Hilton Garden Inn. I took advantage of the airport shuttle and was pleased with the availability. The room was very clean and the service was great. I requested that they take out the trash and refill the Keurig station on day three and they took care of it as well as refreshed the towels. I only had breakfast at the hotel restaurant and was happy with the selection and the quality of the bacon (which is generally lacking in a hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The catered food during our business lunches was also good. I was also happy that they had beer for sale in the store. The location was convenient and I ubered nightly to local brewerie...
I had a wonderful experience overall. While prices in Chicago are somewhat on the higher side, I come from a small town with only 400 residents. The staff was friendly and engaging once they realized I wasn't a difficult customer. Both lunch and dinner were delicious, and I enjoyed the appetizers at the bar along with a great selection of cocktails. The bartenders were both friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was decent, though I'm not a fan of synthetic eggs; however, I could have chosen something different from the menu. The room was clean, quiet, and modern, and as a tall person at 6'6", I was particularly pleased with the spacious shower.

After a terribly disappointing, long and rough travel day, the service here really lightened our load. Christina was so kind and accommodating at the front desk and went above and beyond to provide us with everything my mother and I needed since our baggage was still with our airline carrier. She was so sweet and made our terrible day a little better and our evening a little more comfortable. Thank you, Christina!
The hotel is nice and features a modern update. The main lobby is clean and welcoming, and the restrooms in the main area were also well-maintained. Although I did not stay at the hotel, I attended a conference there in Room AB. The breakfast and lunch were catered by the hotel; they were basic and not particularly noteworthy. Please be aware that there is a $20 parking fee.
As for the rooms, we stayed in a queen double room and opted for the daily snacks and drinks upgrade. My only concern was that we had to call each day to have the snacks replenished.
In terms of safety, the area felt very secure. While there isn't a lot to do nearby, we did manage to walk to a couple of restaurants down the road.
Travel fiascos over the 4th had me staying in Chicago unexpectedly shuttle pick up at the airport with drop off at front door. Beautiful hotel with restaurant/bar open late as I walked in ordered some food right up. Room was clean, cool and very welcoming ?

Even though hotel was next to the airport room was very quiet. Only bad thing just like everything else in Chicago they charged $20 for parking! Didn’t see that in the online booking.
Great stay with a nice restaurant and bar. The room was comfortable and clean. I would choose this hotel again.
