The only redeeming factor of this place, in my opinion, is the cheap drinks. The sound system is pretty bad, making it difficult to hear the music. They have the news on all the TVs, which is not ideal for a pub atmosphere. When we asked to change the channel, we were refused. The bouncers can be rude, but there are a few nice ones. The bar staff have been friendly in my experience. Overall, it was okay, but without the cheap drinks, I don't see a reason to come back here over other places. Plus, it was uncomfortably hot inside.
I always enjoy my visits to The Garrett. James, Pierce, and the rest of the team are truly exceptional. They work together to create a fun atmosphere for everyone, whether you're enjoying a drink alone or with a group. This pub is the type of place where you can go in as a stranger and leave with a few new friends added to your social media contacts. It's not a pretentious bar, but a welcoming and friendly spot to relax and have a good time.
Be prepared to sit outside as the inside is normally pretty busy. The drinks are good and cheap, you can get two cocktails for £5 and it’s in a good location. Perfect for students or people who are on a budget, probably not the place for you if you’re looking for a classy girls night occasion but I love it
I absolutely love this pub! The Garratt is my favorite place to go, I always have a great time when I visit. The drinks are affordable and the atmosphere is lively. The staff and patrons are all so friendly, making it a must-visit spot. I highly recommend checking it out!

Had many good nights here. Drinks are really cheap (2 doubles for £5), staff are friendly and everyone is having a good time. When it gets busy and there are no spare tables, you and friends can easily sit at a random group's table and make friends there.
I absolutely loved this restaurant! They offer affordable drinks and I especially enjoyed the slushy cocktails. The bartender also gave great recommendations for cool places to check out.
Friendly pub in the heart of city centre, always full of students and young people in general. Very nice atmosphere with a selection of rock music and good drink offers
Decent place with fast service, but got told to be quiet by a bouncer for cheering a shot when playing pool, very much killed our vibe. Won't be back in a hurry.

It's always good to get there early, they might not let you in after midnight. The 2 doubles for £5 is always a great way to start the night!
