Will not be returning. Menu items we wanted were unavailable on the app. Then we decided something else. Was waiting 15 minutes before someone approached and told us there is a 45 minute wait on food. Then 5 minutes later (20 minutes after ordering) someone approached and told her our drinks were unavailable. Sat near the kitchen and the stuff that came out the waitresses mouths was awful. Also heard a customer ask for a takeaway box and waitress didn 't stop walking and shouted hang oooon . Food came quicker than expected after 25-30 minutes. Been here 4 times now over the space of 3 weeks. Everytime me and my partner order anything it's either not available or we get what we order/an alternative, the issue is even when we do get any food it's never complete!! When we ask to have everything we are paying for on the plate we are greeted with arrogance or avoidance, and then ignored so whatever we do have food wise is stone cold by the time we may get our order correct which doesn't always happen! Waiting upwards of an hour with incomplete or wrong food orders left with us while we sit waiting. Absolutely awful. Tablefor11 booked but only 10 seats, were begrudgingly given an extra one. Table dirty on arrival. After order placed at bar, 2 meals were unavailable and had to change. One steak had to be returned, much too blue and the rest of the diners had finished before it was re served. Only half cups of tea served and soft drinks were under filled. The dirty plates were still on the table when the desserts were served. The service was a disgrace. The gents toilets were out of order so they were using the disabled facilities. I frequently eat out and my favourite venue is the Hungry Horse in Kings Lynn. The food is always ‘top notch’, customer service impeccable staff are always warm, kind and friendly willing to go the extra mile without a moments hesitation. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the staff for their commitment to caring and making each and every visit a delightful one. One member of staff stands out Lewis. Such a hard working young man that delivers the ‘goods’ consistently and to a very high level. I had an excellent experience at the bar with outstanding service. They offered a nice selection of lagers. The food was served quickly and cooked to perfection. I ordered the mixed grill, and the steak was exceptional. For dessert, I indulged in the millionaire cheesecake, which was also flawless. Although I was just passing through while staying at the Travelodge next door, this place is definitely worth remembering. Hats off to the chef!
Good food with a decent service tine, easy ordering from the app. Only minor issue was they forgot the cutlery with my main dish but a quick ask and this was resolved. Josh was polite and helpful. Not usually in the King's Lynn area but if I return I'd be happy to eat here again. Music not too loud which some other pubs make the mistake of doing
Tonight was my second visit, and unfortunately, the steak I ordered was not cooked well done as I requested. I sent it back, but it returned still pink inside, not well done at all. The peas and chips were also cold. I definitely won't be coming back for a third time.

The glasses were dirty, the chicken was lukewarm and swimming in grease, the fries were cold, the corn on the cob was cold, and the salad was wilted. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. It’s best to stay far away.
