I absolutely love the staff at The George! Sam has resolved multiple issues for us, which is why we keep returning time and time again. Adam always makes us feel welcomed like family, and Leah is always a joy to interact with. Diane is consistently friendly and chatty. If you're looking for delicious food and drinks served by wonderful people, this is the place for you.
I went to this restaurant for Mother's Day and had a Sunday lunch that was not worth the money at all. The roast potatoes were hard and I was surprised I didn't break a tooth. The food was cold and the cauliflower cheese was tasteless as I couldn't even see the cheese. I will never go back to this restaurant.
Really nice pub. Staff are always really friendly. I've been coming here for lunch a lot with my daughter and its always a great meal. We have the two meals for 14.99 and its a bargain. My favourite is the scampi. It's a really nice atmosphere and definitely a great food pub.

Had a brilliant night doing the Monday quiz, the food was once again amazing, and really resonably priced, the staff were friendly and the service was excellent. We just didn't win the quiz ha ha, maybe next time.
I can accept the rise in prices of a pint. But please can the money be invested in better chillers. Nothing worse than a warm pint of san Miguel. Other pubs seem to chill their lager in this weather Thanks
This was our first time dining out on Christmas Day and it was fantastic! We enjoyed a lovely, relaxed meal that was cooked to perfection. We will definitely be making a reservation again. Thank you.
