On the day that myself and a friend went to The George for lunch it was very busy. We had booked thankfully but rather than be shown to our table the man behind the bar pointed toward the restaurant and said we were in the corner. After sitting for 20minutes I caught the eye of a female serving staff who said she'd be with us in 2 minutes.......15 more minutes later I managed to get the attention of a lovely member of staff. She was less than impressed that we had not be asked if we wanted drinks by the man at the bar, who apparently had also failed to tell us when we arrived, that there was a 45 60 minute wait for food. True to her word our food was the next served so we waited for 45 minut...
