Loads of TV screens and perfect for watching sports. The bar is located just off the Royal Mile and reasonably priced for drinks. Great selection of beers on tap and served in the correct branded glass I like it when that happens!! It gets really busy during some of the big games, so might be best to book or turn up early. The TV screens are great quality and there are lots of places to get a good view. There are scarfs and flags all over the walls which adds to the sports bar vibe. There are not that many good sports bars in Edinburgh so this place is perfect for watching the big game. It does loose one star because it had a sign at the door saying ‘no football colours’. 1 star is too much for this bar. We were there today for the Rugby giving our hard earned money. At 19.30 one of the bar staff came over and put an A4 sheet of paper on the table with a reservation for someone at 20.30. When I queried this I was told you can move to another table this is how we make money. I have never come across this in my life. I said to him you have accepted my money all day and now I've to move? The reply was unbelievable. Avoid at all costs unless you don't mind giving an establishment your money until they have new customers and want you to move on!! UNBELIEVABLE
One of the few bars playing the Indian vs Pakistan match here in Edinburgh . Since we were here visiting relatives divided to drop in to enjoy some drinks and the match . There was a small Asian community gathering to enjoy the match . You could experience some overexcited Indians and Pakistan’s found. Easy over every run and wicket from their respective teams . The pub on its own is just average comparing to the other pubs we have hoped around here in Edinburgh . Not the best of crowd and the place has a bit of filthy smell . Overall a average experience .
Well what can I say am a celtic fan when we scored we jumped about noth8ng said but when rangers scored my friend jumped about bouncer said no more drink for him. And they talk about being racist in football think bouncer needs to adapt to its only a fame as other table rangers fan jumped about but nothing said to him but he left cause o bouncer attitude towards person in my party . Good Burgers and Drinks! But please get the sound for your two bays with the projectors sorted. It’s 2022 and therefore it should somehow be possible in a sports bar to watch football in the one bay and formula one in the other bay and BOTH with audio turned on. That can’t be a complicated or expensive fix but would make it much nicer!
I went to this restaurant for Karaoke night on Thursday with my partner and had an amazing time! The regular customers were friendly and polite, and the person hosting the karaoke was fantastic. I sang my heart out and stayed out way too late. I highly recommend checking it out if you're in Edinburgh on a Thursday night!
The doorman at this restaurant is completely useless, the only thing he seems to be battling is his own temptation to indulge in three takeout meals a night. The bar staff are even more incompetent. The place reeks of urine, I would steer clear of this establishment at all costs.

The fish and chips at this restaurant were fantastic! We did have to wait a while for our food because the kitchen was busy, but the atmosphere more than made up for it.
