Booked here for Early Bird Menu. Had Rump steak which you cook yourself on very hot stone. Oh my gosh the Steak was DELICIOUS . Accompanied with chips. onion rings. Mushrooms and tomatoes. Followed by Lemon drizzle cake and ice-cream. Never tasted anything like it absolutely gorgouse. It was the best meal I have had. Cook very obliging and explained different steak cuts. We stopped by this pub for a quick meal during a bike ride. The exterior might not be the most appealing, but don't let that deter you. The pub landlord was great and gave off a true village pub vibe. We tried the homemade quiche and fries, with the quiche having a delicious short pastry crust. We will definitely be returning, especially for their pie night on Thursdays. The price ranges from £10 to £20 per person, with top ratings for food, service, and atmosphere.
Darren is the loveliest host and the food is incredible. What an experience, the steak comes slightly seared and seasoned and you just cook it exactly how you like it. Always top quality steak and I’d highly recommend the cheesecake. A large car park makes for easy parking and all the staff have always been polite and attentive. A real pleasure every time. Fantastic food with exceptionally friendly staff. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. The average price per person ranges from £20 to £30. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a perfect score of 5. I particularly recommend trying the 12oz Fillet Steak cooked on a hot stone. Not been here for ages but so glad I went tonight. Absolutely delicious steak meal cooked by you on a volcanic stone. Beats the pants of Miller and Carter any time. Great value for money and friendly service too. We'll be back, soon ! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
