Had booked a table of nine for teatime as we were 6 adults and 3 little ones. The occasion was a family birthday celebration and the staff were amazing. So helpful and friendly. We have a 3 year old granddaughter who is a coeliac sufferer and the young lady who helped us choose her food could not have done more to ensure the food they served to us was safe. This pub has a full separate menu from which you can choose gluten free food but she went one step further and individually went through the childrens menu to see if something could be chosen from there in a smaller portion. Amazing quality food at a good price but high quality customer service is a rarity in today’s society.
I have had a great experience at this restaurant. The staff are friendly and easy to get along with. They offer free parking and are dog-friendly. The food is delicious and the service is quick. I have visited with both friends and family and have always had a fantastic experience, rating it 10/10. There is plenty of seating available, including a free function room. The toilets are always clean and presentable. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant more often.
A long overdue review. Great pub with great staff. Whether your just popping in for a quick drink or sitting down for some pub grub (never had a bad meal) your always guaranteed good service. We love the pub quiz on a Sunday evening run by Maddie, she’s welcoming and warm, and your always guaranteed a giggle. The bar staff and kitchen staff are always polite and friendly and nothing is too much trouble.
Starters was a nachos sharer…average. Mains was beef ale pie. We were not offered a choice of mash or chips…so it came with chips. Served with undercooked broccoli, the pie crust was clearly over heated making it tough. The filling was the best thing about the meal! Luckily we had a gift voucher so only paid for the drinks. Would not have chosen to eat there had we not had the gift voucher.

I have lived down the road from this pub my whole life and went for the first time this week! Staff are lovely, drinks and food are very reasonably priced and delicious! A lovely man helped me out when I had lost my passport. A wonderful, wonderful pub we will definitely be going again!
Had a nice evening here, out the 4 of us and the pub didn't disappoint, lovely variety of 0% alcohol. Pub was busy but the food still came out in a timely manner. Bacon and blue burger was delicious
Came in for some drinks with a friend, very friendly staff. Been going through a tough time and the staff have been very accommodating. Good food. Thanks to all the staff here.

This cozy pub is a great spot to grab a meal and drinks with friends. The prices are reasonable and the staff is fantastic. They never fail to impress.
