Visited this restaurant on a summer’s day, the service was welcoming and friendly at first, it got a slow for us as our waited clocked out and we needed to flag down another waiter to complete our process. We ordered the cheeseburger and the Tuna melt! The tuna melt gets an 8/10 (not a fan of the salt and vinegar chips in the sandwich), and the cheeseburger gets a 10/10 from me. The coffee was also simple as expected, and the Mexican coke was tasty. The fries get a 7.5/10 from us. Came with a reservation for three on a Saturday evening and was seated right away. I ordered the Makgeolli Horchata, which was great before I left it too long and it got watered down.For the three of us, we got the Korean Fried Chicken Wings, and two orders of the Chicken Katsu Club, one with home fries and one with regular fries.Between the three of us, this was more than enough. After weeks of anticipation, we finally made the trip to Golden Diner for their famous honey butter pancakes, and they truly lived up to the hype! The pancakes were incredibly fluffy and large, although quite dense, leaving me feeling very full very quickly. I ended up taking most of my meal home with me. In hindsight, I should have ordered an egg dish and shared the pancakes with my boyfriend. The restaurant is cozy with only 8 tables and counter seating, and also offers outdoor seating in a shed. Be prepared to wait in line if you arrive after opening on weekends. Vegetarian options include egg dishes and pancakes.
I was so pleasantly surprised at what we ordered and how delicious it was! I’m not a big diner person in generally but the Katsu club was mindblowingly good. I don’t like chicken and I never volunteer to eat a sandwich but I ate this one fresh the day of I was at the restaurant excitedly and it was SO good even the morning after as take away.I also got the Korean fried chicken wings which were good in flavor and texture on the outside, but could be improved in terms of tenderness and flavor on the inside.

I was amazed by my experience at Golden Diner. I'm usually hesitant to try burgers at places that aren't solely focused on burgers, but the one I had here was amazing! The mushroom gochujang sauce was bursting with flavor and perfectly complemented the burger. The chicken katsu club sandwich was also delicious and came in a generous portion. The pancakes were a hit as well. The only downside was the noise from being located under the bridge, which made outdoor seating a bit noisy.
A delicious meal I couldn’t believe how good the pancakes were. I don’t think I’ve had pancakes this good ever before. The Monte cristo was also excellent and a nice special. I would definitely come back for some other things which looked great, like the burrito and the katsu club. I also strongly recommend the golden punch, which was fruity and delicious.
was definitely on the pricier side but the quality was top-notch. The burger was cooked perfectly to my liking and the fries were crispy and seasoned perfectly. The portions were generous and left me feeling satisfied. I will definitely be returning, but maybe next time I'll come earlier to avoid the long wait. Overall, a fantastic dining experience.
Easy 5 out of 5…. We had been waiting to try Golden Diner and finally made it. It did not disappoint! Everything we ordered (including their Unity blend coffee) was a standout. Highly recommend getting the pancakes as a table share item so everyone cam enjoy that and their own entree. Can’t wait to go back!

I have never had better pancakes in my life. The crispiness of the Korean fried chicken wings was unlike anything I have ever experienced. I wish they made snack chips out of the batter they fried it in. I will definitely be returning to try the egg hash brown sandwich.
Absolutely Golden! Thought it was a good idea to try Asian mixed American diner and it didn’t disappoint. I had the Katsu sandwich and it didn’t disappoint. Definitely a place worth coming back to!
