Cofax is a popular breakfast burrito spot Fairfax and for good reason, the burritos are delicious and filling. There's usually a bit of a line but it'll move pretty briskly. You can get a breakfast burrito $13) with bacon or chorizo or neither. It's an average size burrito but freshly made and good ingredients. The flaky toasted tortilla was great and bringing in all the flavors together and offer some textual contrast to the soft eggs and chorizo. $13 is on the high end of the average burrito, putting aside Huckleberry, but worth a splurge once awhile.
I visited this restaurant for breakfast, and there was quite a line in the morning. The breakfast burritos looked amazing, but I opted for the pastrami special since they only serve a limited quantity each day. They were generous with the pastrami, but I found the wrap to be on the pricier side, especially considering the size and the cost of drinks. The coffee and matcha were average at best; you could likely find better options at nearby coffee shops.
Very rude staff, very mediocre food and coffee, very hard to park . Table blocking the door, you feel like you're not welcome they just want you outside so they show off how busy they are even if you order online you still have to hold the ordering line at the store, I will never go back and I don't advise anyone to go there, there are so many bagels shop and bakeries around wayyy much better than being treated like that
Pretty mid for the price. Coffee was fine. Burrito was a tasteless, soggy excuse for food. Portions were all off too. Spend your money elsewhere. No excuse for such a tasteless burrito. Literally needed to add salt and hot sauce to get some sort of flavor. Oh, and I waited like 29 minutes for this monstrosity.

Truly the best breakfast burritos around. We always order the speck burrito and the smoked veggie burrito—they’re absolutely incredible. Their iced almond milk lattes are fantastic as well! Plus, the service is always incredibly friendly. It genuinely feels like everyone working there is part of the family!

I ordered their famous cheeseburger, cooked medium rare, with one serving of fries and the other with a side salad. The burger was top-notch and absolutely delicious! They also offer a great selection of beers to choose from.
