This place is a such a lovely treat : . My fiance and I went for cream tea here (next time, we'll pre-book after afternoon tea : and it was delicious. The tea and scones were great, with beautiful cup and saucers used. The place is decorated very thoughtfully with lots of attention to detail and looks really lovely. A lot of care has clearly been put in and the owner was very friendly with a lot of knowledge on tea and also the history of the building. We'd definitely go back and would recommend it for get-togethers. Also lots of seating outside to relax in the sun (weather permitting of course ! :
Four of us cycled to the Golden Hop Tea Room. We were made to feel really welcome and enjoyed coffee and tea with cakes. They had an impressive range of different teas and included gluten free cake on their menu. The only other customers with house rinders who enjoyed their refreshments in the beautiful garden with their animals. A special venue which we will return to.
First went there as a young man with my dad and friends many a boozy night and the graffiti on the men’s bog wall was famous people came from all over the country to see the graffiti on the men’s bogs wall . It was a pub then and Ken was a great publican .,it’s still lovely but no boozy nights now . No 10 pints and a drive home ha ha
Found this little tea room on fb. Had a lovely lunch and owner very friendly. Bought something from the little shop to. Will return to try the afternoon tea. Lovely location peace and quiet very tranquil highly recommend
Fantastic afternoon tea for mother's day, a true Kent countryside location, such a personal service and the children well looked after. Thank you! Will have to stop by on the bike for cake!
