Went here last night, my husband myself and our daughter. The food and the atmosphere was amazing, then our waitress Alyssa G., she took it to the next level. Alyssa was absolutely incredible! From her friendliness to her attentiveness to her outstanding attitude. She also gave her some suggestions, which were spot on! Her engagement with each one of us was superb, and it wasn't just with us. We heard her at other tables being the same way. She seems like a person who lights up a room when she enters. I've been to The Good Life before because they have the best fish and chips. This time, I had the Bistro Burger, which was a flavor bomb! What an amazing combination of bacon, brie and apricots! And I also ordered a very interesting beer made with orange puree and marshmallows that tasted like a Creamsicle! Our service was excellent as well. Our waiter, Al, was very friendly and even offered my husband a cup of hot water so he could warm his hands when he noticed that my husband kept his winter jacket on indoors. A wonderful restaurant for food, beer selection and service.
My husband and I went to this place and we must admit that we ended up extremely surprised the taste of the food, the freshness in the ingredients is something you feel at the first bite I would return to this place a thousand times the attention 10/10, the food 10/10 and the quality-price combination is fantastic. So if you are looking for a good place to go and taste something delicious you can go here with your eyes closed.
My family went there on 9/11/2023. Our waitress came over and asked if any of us were first responders, my uncle stated he was with the FDNY. Our waitress then told us our entire table was eating and drinking for free. The owner was covering ALL first responders along with their guests tabs. I thought that was incredibly classy and worthy of a shoutout. Thank you so much The Good Life!
10 stars for service!!! Our waiter, Al, was amazing!! I explained to him that we were tight on time, needed to have a quick bite and be on the road by a specific time and he made sure we were out by that time while being extremely nice and pleasant in the process! Thanks Al !!
Ordered the good life burger, was not good. The potato coins came without cheese, so basically paid $14 for potato chips. Was never a fan of good life but had a gift card but still super disappointing. Called to try to speak with manager but they didn’t have one in.
Awesome selection of food, food was cooked perfectly, plenty of TV's to watch games. They give live music and the waitress are awesome
