Spent a beautiful evening on the patio, thankful it wasn't a super hot day. Looking forward to the restaurant opening up their in restaurant dining (not sure the reason it's not open). The patio was a lovely experience, the sound of the falls in background made for the best ambiance. Overall food was good but just a bit on the pricey side for the quality in our opinion. The seafood chowder was awesome so well worth the $13, I just wished there was more to be honest. The Lobster roll lacked flavour and too heavy on the onions. The fries were really yummy! We were looking for something unique and fun, and happen on The Goofie Newfie after explaining to our 10 year old what the term Newfie was, we sat down inside the restaurant and fell in love with the decor Service that day was very slow, but the waitresses were attentive. Great Patio with super energizing sound of roaring river under Your feet. Food great and tasty with no stomach adventures, for that reason We’ll be back. For good food and big plate You have to pay without complaining. Servers super friendly with favorite word for customer “Absolutely!!” PS. Just because we came and encountered heavy rain.... umbrellas don’t work in such time...if business gets better, please think about patio roofing and if You put a bucket for customers to pitch in I am first !!! what a wonderful surprise! after a weekend with my mom go to home and check zomato for a lunch place. the name sounded cool, so we thought we would check it. the deck overlooking the river and falling was beautiful, and the restaurant was enchanting. the service was very friendly, helpful and always smiling. eating was also remarkable! I had to steal mom's pommes. fresh cut and made perfect! She said the fish was excellent, and the oil was fresh. I can't say enough about my queen. very delicious! I will be back in any case! We recently visited this restaurant for the first time and absolutely loved it. It feels like a little piece of Newfoundland, from the charming decor to the delicious food and the exceptionally friendly service. We highly recommend trying the lobster poutine. We will definitely be returning in the future.
Celebrated my Dad’s birthday. From start to finish our server Shannon made this an incredible experience. The atmosphere is fun and inviting. Our meals were hot, delicious and more than filled the plate. We will definitely return and highly recommend.
We enjoyed a delightful lunch at the restaurant. The staff were incredibly friendly, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was fantastic. We will definitely be back when we are in town for rugby in the spring!

great place. always a lot of fun drinking, eating out and playing pool. the bartenders are incredibly nice and the drinks are a reasonable price. Karaoke Night is also a fun.
