I got a sharp reminder tonight as to why I never eat in my local Weatherspoons…it is awful! I ordered what was described as a ‘Medeterranian Salad’ with tuna mayo. What I got was some tuna mayo, broth mix, and dead leaves. I’m not sure what was remotely ‘Medeterranian’ or even ‘salad’ about this dish, as it contained no tomatoes; no peppers; no cucumber; no olives; in fact, it did not contain any veg, with the exception of some past-it, straight from a packet, leaves! So yeah, foolish me paid a tenner for a 55p tin of value tuna flakes, a couple of tablespoons of pre-soaked broth mix and some wilted leaves. Thank feck there was a pint of Tennent’s lager included in the price to pacify me! A...
Once again, I have decided that I will never return to this restaurant. Two weekends in a row, they have run out of food from the menu or only have very limited options available. When asking the staff for an explanation, they either have no answer or show no interest in providing one. The Inverurie Manager seems to avoid interaction with customers and fails to address their concerns. The restaurant can get quite busy, but there have been fewer customers recently, even on weekends. While some staff members are polite, it seems that a more cooperative and competent manager would be better suited for the job, as the current one appears to lack proper management skills. That's my honest opinion...
The food at this restaurant was excellent, but the service was lacking. We had to ask for our table to be cleaned, and then the waitress spilled water and left a puddle in the middle of the table. We had to search for napkins to dry it up, but there were none to be found. We had to flag down another waitress to get some. When ordering, we asked if it was possible to get a bacon roll for our 6-year-old, but were met with a very abrupt "no." With five people dining, we found the service to be rude and lacking in customer service.
Nice meal for or anniversary totally spoiled by incompetent staff.... unfortunately they need a lesson in public relations my sons girlfriend of 20 years old had her drink snatched away and i mean snatched so rude because her young Scots card is not proof of Id !!!! Worked fine on all our bus travels up north. She doesn't possess a driving licence or passport as we were told to provide. Thankfully will never be back an anniversary not to remember and a young lady left very shaken....

I received my food and it was terrible. I noticed that the staff did not follow up with me a few minutes after receiving it to see if everything was okay. I left my food untouched on the side, and when someone finally came over, all they asked was if I was finished. It was clear that I had left my food for a reason (because it was horrible). This restaurant used to be good, but now it is run down and terrible. It's a shame.
Food took so long to arrive I had forgotten what I had ordered. What I got was not in any way what I had ordered, I didn’t order a child’s portion of stone cold food. Second time in a row this has happened there so never again, I just left it and went to the local chip pie, at least it was hot and had more than 7 chips.
Met up with friends for lunch , didn’t really know what to expect after reading the reviews here. I was very pleasantly surprised, comfortable surroundings , pleasant staff , food very good , hard to fault the place really, no car park but plenty on street parking nearby, well done Wetherspoons .
Ordered gourmet sirloin steak from tueday steak menu. Sirloin was tough. No mushrooms, no onion rings, these were promised on the menu. The plate just had a poor steak peas, chips and sauce. No apology.

The menu is very extensive which is good as I'm vegan. The food was tasty, good value and the staff were friendly and efficient. Drinks are a good price too.
