I felt actual joy at finding this pub. Had lunch there on Saturday. My partner and I like to get out weekends to explore and I love real, fresh beer, so we go to pubs for lunch a fair bit. It’s always a bit suspenseful. Will the beer be good, or will I have to have lager? Is the food honest? By which I mean local, tasty, prepared with skill and care, with the price appropriate to what you get. I’d rather a ham sandwich and pickled egg to those vast, laminated menus offering factory-made crowd pleasers from the freezer, that you pore over to find the thing they’re least likely to ruin. In the round, the experience is mixed, with enough instances of bad or disputable beer, over-priced, mediocr...
The food was excellent, I had the beef and it was cooked to perfection. The vegetables were perfect and the cauliflower cheese was the the best ! Dessert was Summer akin to an Erin Mess and again the only problem was that I did not have enough room for a second helping. The Staff were attentive but not annoying in any way. Pleasantly surprised to have a new carafe of tap water provided without needing to ask. We were in the middle section that opened up to the garden. This allowed fresh air to circulate, it is VERY hot today so this was an ideal compromise. Should I have chance to eat here again I will not hesitate !
Excellent service from friendly and helpful team. Beautifully cooked and presented dishes with some creative and tasty combinations in the 'Iittle plates ' section of the menu. Don 't miss the triple cooked chunks on the side, they 're lovely. The Grace catered effortlessly with a table of 9 that included a mix of vegetarians, vegans and a coeliac. Went out of their way to ensure everyone was happy with their meal choices and had a good choice of vegan wine for those who wanted it too. Everyone very impressed, had a great evening, thank you!
I recently moved around the corner from the grace and I feel really lucky it’s my local pub. It’s always such a great atmosphere. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. I have always been able to book a table and the grace have always been very responsive. There is really good selection of drinks and very reasonably priced. I always enjoy going here and feel like it’s appropriate for any groups, I have been with family members and friends and both groups have had a great time. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
We absolutely adore this restaurant. We went there for drinks, enjoying fabulous beers and cocktails in a relaxed atmosphere. The place is very welcoming to both dogs and people. The following day, we came back for the Sunday roast, which was exceptional. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the Bloody Mary was perfect! The only downside for us is that it's not our neighborhood restaurant, as we were only visiting Bristol for the New Year.
Went for New Year’s Eve and was very pleased with our experience. The service was friendly, some good beers on offer and the food was brilliant. It’s not the cheapest but there were so many interesting flavours and well worth a visit.
This restaurant is a wonderful place with a beautiful garden, tasty wine, and welcoming bar staff. I definitely recommend it. I've also heard great things about their Sunday roast, although I haven't had a chance to try it yet.

The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere and the staff is skilled and friendly. They offer a delicious variety of small plates and expertly crafted cocktails. Definitely worth a visit.
