I ordered the Mississippi Nights sandwich with a delicious side of mac and cheese. The establishment also has self-serve refillable soft drinks. The food was amazing. The sandwich was full of flavor from the different combination of meats, like the turkey, roast beef and bacon with the pepper jack cheese and red pepper spread. The Gramophone is truly very unique in the different sandwiches they serve judging from the items on the menu, the different combination of ingredients used and clearly has established its very own trademark, especially with the crumbled barbecue chips they seem to put on everything. The Gramophone has the BEST sandwiches in the city hands down! I put them up against any other place in STL. The selection is unmatched. From hot to cold to different types of bread you can’t go wrong here. And they stay open late! Closed on Mondays. I encourage you to try their menu. You won’t be disappointed. Great selection of local beer, a full bar, plenty of seating inside and out back. Great sides like chips, jalapeño popper soup, and Mac n cheese with red hot ripplets on top. This restaurant offers amazing sandwiches in a trendy setting. There are plenty of seats, a bar for drinks, and a few pinball machines. The mac and cheese and baked potato sides are delicious. The sandwiches are to die for. It's a perfect spot for lunch or to meet up with friends in the evening. It's a lovely place to grab a sandwich after a night out.
I had the beef sandwich, which had more bread than meat and cheese. The flavor was excellent. Everyone else in our group ordered large sandwiches or wraps and were satisfied with their choices. Warning, if you take your partner here they will want to eat here several times a week, maybe its just mine but we both adore this place. Best sandwiches in the grive as far as im concerned. Plus its open late so it makes a killer hangover meal
The Enzo and meatball were delicious. The jalapeno cream cheese soup has a flavor that is irresistible. The Mac n Cheese topped with red hot riplets was also amazing. The atmosphere is comfortable and has a great vibe.
