We had an afternoon tea here this week, and it was absolutely perfect! They offer all the British classics, served in an elegant setting by very professional and friendly staff. I couldn't ask for more if you're looking for a lovely afternoon in the heart of London. My favorites were the hearty scones and the rich, dense chocolate mousse cake. There's so much delicious food at a very reasonable price—I can't recommend this place enough!
I took a Valentine menu with so-called 2 courses. I thought I could take a main dish and a dessert. it also means 2 courses. I was surprised that only I got the bill, there was a misunderstanding that no one explained before....what the problem to take a main dish and dessert?.so finally it was more expensive than expected. I was very disappointed. it was not mentioned in the menu
I work nearby and have always walked past this place located in Piccadilly. Last month, I decided to give it a try, and I was quite impressed. The atmosphere is lovely, and the service is consistently friendly and attentive. The food is always beautifully presented, and I really enjoy the cocktails they offer.
Be warned! OpenTable accepts bookings up to 2 hours prior to the desired time, but these are NOT COMMUNICATED to The Grand. Do not assume any same day reservations will be honoured. I had a delightful breakfast here. The service was quick and incredibly attentive. I enjoyed the chocolate croissant, which was amazing. The other two people I was with ordered the Eggs Benedict and the garden breakfast (both shown in the photos below), and they both loved their meals as well.
great restaurant. I loved everything about it. excellent service and was pampered for choice when selecting my food from the varied menu. does not expect me to wish a great selection of mine and also find it at a reasonable price. the ambiente was inviting.
I was with a friend. We had a teapot each and a patisserie each. The patisserie had a very industrial feel, it was edible but lacked finesse to say the least. Pot of tea is quite small. Basically it was ok, no more. However, the service was good.
I ordered pancakes that come out quickly, but saw stale and tasted hardly warm. I don't think they were freshly cooked, but just reheated. in general I think that eating there is overpriced for the quality they receive. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
