This local pub caters mostly to working-class locals and can be friendly until it gets late and everyone is drunk. We went for a pre-stag-do drink during a karaoke night, but things took a turn when a member of our group got into a fight and ended up getting knocked out. The security did not intervene, so I had to help our friend and bring him outside. While the atmosphere may be rowdy, the drinks are inexpensive and served quickly. There is plenty of space, a pool table, and decent toilets. Just be cautious and keep your wits about you if you decide to visit this pub, as no one may come to your aid if things get out of hand.
My friends and I had a great time at this restaurant on Friday night for the comedy show. The comedians were excellent and had us laughing so much our faces hurt! We also had the pleasure of meeting TJ, the pub owner, who was a very nice and down to earth man. We will definitely be returning soon with our friends and family. I highly recommend this place, especially on Friday nights for the comedy show - you won't be disappointed!
Owners and staff very welcoming Great selection of drinks including real ales and high end vodka, whiskey and Cognac The food is really good not too much going on the simple test pub grub. One of the great things about the pub is that the atmosphere was brilliant people having a laugh and joke all night long, being welcomed in by the regulars is always a great thing.
Although I don't frequent this restaurant often, I must say that there have been impressive upgrades to the men's restroom. The pub has a friendly atmosphere and the staff deliver top-notch service. Cant go wrong with this place, good beer, fast service, friendly staff and locals and plenty of space and seating. Large function room one side and pool tables available to use at £1 a go. Children welcome till 9pm This really is a lovely pub with regular events and entertainment. Definitely worth a visit.
Pop in here infrequently to meet the brother in law. Have always been welcomed by the bar staff: always ready to serve efficient in their work. Lovely atmosphere for a quite large pub, plenty of seating. Nice atmosphere always feel comfortable Nice range of beers, delivered well.
Was invited to go for a few beers, was pleased that The Grasshopper had been chosen. Have only ever had good beer good service whenever I have visited. Fortunately the same again, lovely welcome good beer service. The locals are very friendly, al in all a good 'pub '.

Joined a brother in law at The Grasshopper. Good range of drinks. Staff are friendly efficient. You will know if any football is playing! Definitely a local pub somewhat of a community centre.
