Green Chile is an amazing spot to enjoy New Mexico-style cuisine. The chili and sopapillas are absolute must-haves. It's nestled in a small shopping area, so it can be easy to overlook if you’re not paying attention. The staff is fantastic and happy to answer any questions about the menu. The first time I visited, I had the stacked enchiladas topped with pork green chili and a fried egg—it was so good I could eat it every time, but I also want to explore other dishes. Others in my group tried the stuffed sopapilla, which looked delicious. This time, I ordered the southwestern-style frogs and, of course, I had to have a round of sopapillas. My friends and I visited this restaurant for lunch, and it was quite busy—so we had to wait about five minutes for a table. The food arrived promptly, and everything was absolutely delicious. The service was fantastic, and I've heard that this spot is a local favorite for Mexican cuisine. Although the restaurant is small, it was a wonderful experience overall.
Living in Southern California comes with many perks, one of which is the incredible variety of food options. However, I've always felt that we could use more offerings from neighboring states. That's why I was thrilled to discover this hidden gem serving Navajo Tacos and Sopapillas. Absolutely fantastic!
My first time trying the Green Chile. What an amazing experience!! We tried the red chili beef, green chili with ground beef and potatoes and an apple sopapilla. All were so delicious. The owner was so sweet and helpful. Altogether a satisfying and tasty treat! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The chile Verde with pork is not spicy and very flavorful. I ordered the Navajo taco with shredded beef! It was not at all what I expected, tasted so good! We're definitely going back soon!! Our server/cashier was very friendly and attentive.
New Mexico food is hard to find in So California, but this is the real deal. From stuffed sopapillas to Navajo tacos and flat enchiladas topped with a fried egg. Their fruit filled dessert sopapillas are fabulous. All so delicious.
Two words Navaho Tacos! Also savory and sweet sopapillas. A mother and a pop place... with a takeout vibe... but the food is amazing. Very recommended!!
