I have eaten here a few times before, but I was really disappointed with the meal I had for my birthday, which also happened to be on Valentine's Day. I decided to try something different (usually we go to the White Horse in Bradford-on-Tone) and it was a mistake! The food was not great. Despite having a Valentine's Day menu, they only had a rib eye dish left (even though there were only six people dining). To make matters worse, the kitchen seemed overwhelmed and the service was slow. I visited The Green Dragon this week for our Valentine's Day meal. The restaurant was beautiful and clean inside, and the staff were welcoming. When we sat down to order drinks, I noticed they had a gin menu on the table, which was convenient. The starters looked amazing, though the calamari was slightly overcooked. However, the garlic mushroom dish was perfect. We both ordered steak for our main course, but they brought our plates to the table mixed up, with my boyfriend receiving my steak. Additionally, we were not provided with steak knives and no one checked on us to see if we needed any. Despite these issues, we still enjoyed our meal and would consider returning in the future.

This is a fantastic little pub in Wellington. The interior looks beautiful these days and the staff is very helpful. There are lots of options on tap to choose from, so if you're just looking for a drink, I would definitely recommend it. The food really stands out and I would gladly pay more for a quality meal here instead of getting something average from a nearby brewery-owned pub on the street.

Awful light bite of a baguette slaughtered by peppers and hideously fatty beef. I could not find the baguette. Won't do that again! Not asked about if I liked it, even though the plate was sent back pretty much untouched

beautiful host sound as if they had only the pub weeks friendly and attentive yummy breakfast beautiful decor while great pub in a great location cheap parking on the coop above the street
