Went here for a work colleague's leaving do and so I came with the expectation of your standard pub. So.wrong. A cozy beautiful atmosphere with excellent and attentive staff and amazing non standard cuisine. Jacob, the bartender, was very helpful with his wine suggestions and poured me a few to try before deciding. I ordered the goat cheese plate as an appetizer, had the salmon for my main, and the chocolate fondant with raspberry sorbet (to diiiiee for) for dessert. The chef definitely puts extra effort into these dishes. Will hopefully come back again!
The food was absolutely fantastic, service was A* and the pub was very welcoming as a whole. If I could give the service 10 stars I would! Chole and Jasmine were fantastic, it was my son's 4th birthday and they were so good with him and us in general. It was like walking into a pub we had been going to for years, except we don't live in this area and have never been! Would return in a flash if we are ever back in the area. Fantastic venue, lovely food and atmosphere, very welcoming. Would wholeheartedly recommend.
