The meal was excellent. I had the belly pork and crab starter followed by the fillet for my main course. The bottle of Chianti was also quite good. The service was a bit slow as they never returned to take our wine order. We had to ask for a steak knife and waited about 20 minutes after finishing our main course for our plates to be cleared. Despite these small issues, the meal itself was truly fantastic.
Stopped here for a 1 night business stay, colleague and I ate in the restaurant and had a really good meal. fish and chips were lovely, and deserts were in chocolate cups, so we literally ate everything. local ales were good, and staff really friendly, certainly recommended
Very slow table service, we skipped dessert because we'd waited over an hour for the waitress to return after bringing the menu. The main course was decent, not great for the price and the seating was very uncomfortable, a kind of hard bench that seemed...

Lovely mother's day meal, food was delicious. Good atmosphere, attentive service and meal served very promptly. Thought the panna cotta dessert could have been a bit more generous as quite a small portion.
We stayed in a small double room small but comfy and cute. Staff were really lovely without exception. felt welcome and valued. The overall impression if of a very high standard of finish and service.
This pub is stunning with lovely decor. The menu had a wide selection making it difficult to choose. I ended up trying the fish and chips and was very satisfied. We will definitely return! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Superb atmosphere and delicious, well-priced food. Highly recommended. We had a starter between 3 of us, and main courses and were very sad to be too full for dessert!
