We called in by chance as we were passing through and saw the sign for brunch. The breakfast was outstanding in fact the best we have had anywhere and we do tend to go out weekly for breakfast. The pub is cosy with a log burner going which really added to the feel of the place. We had a full English with xtras but tbh we didn't need it as the breakfast was more than enough but we forced it down as it was too good to leave!! We will definately go back there on a regular basis and the next to try is the Sunday roast which has been recommended and if it's as good as the breakfast then definately a must
We went for a Fathers day Sunday lunch. All three of our meals were excellent. The Lamb and Beef both melted in the mouth, whilst my daughters pie was also described as very tasty. An abundant selection of delicious vegetables came on serving dishes along with the Baked potatoes and Yorkshire puddings. Two of us found room for a desert which again were excellent. The whole experience of food, service and choice of drinks was of a very high standard. Couple this with value for money and you cant go wrong.
We booked a table for 14 people for Sunday lunch recently to celebrate my 60th birthday. The service was excellent and the restaurant coped really well with such a large order. Really delicious Sunday lunch, crunchy roast potatoes, Massine Yorkers and lovely varied and nicely cooked selection of vegetables special mention for the cauliflower cheese yummy The two vegetarians loved the wellington. Visited the Greyhound a few months ago for an authentic Greek meal so decided to try the afternoon tea. We were not disappointed. The food was delicious and the service excellent. Great selection of food the scones were divine and the mini prawn cocktails and trifles added a twist to the traditional afternoon tea. Highly recommended.

Saturday morning breakfast. Good selection of choices on the breakfast menu. I opted for the full English breakfast. The quality of the food was very good.. The amount was more than enough. The breakfast was very good value and the staff were friendly and efficient. Would definitely recommend.
Went to the Greyhound with the family on Friday night quality food and a lovely atmosphere. The staff are all very friendly, with the log burner blazing this a a proper local pub and restaurant highly recommended!
Had a very enjoyable drink in this pub’s good sized beer garden. First time here and it looks a very nice place inside too. Friendly bar lady and a nice selection of drinks.
Lovely Sunday Lunch, value for money,relaxed atmosphere and good service. Only negative beer choice a little limited. Timothy Taylor sold out!
