I have not done a review in a very long time but the absolute HORRIBLE experience I had Sunday is something I cannot just let go. We only went here because my friend had a $30 off credit because of a previous messed up to-go order. As soon as we came in, we waited for maybe 3 or 4 minutes just for someone to seat us. Our waiter did come over soon and get out drinks and order. We got a platter and it tasted alright but nothing special. The Half Shell Restaurant was ok. The restaurant was easy to locate. The waitress was attentive. The was average, we liked the crab cake and tarter sauce the best. BE AWARE THAT EXTRA SAUCES OR BUTTER is extra cost. The waitress didn't mention it the upcharge of .50 cent. The bread was good. The restroom needed attention, I made sure not to show the trash on the floor, but it did smell good.Although we were passing through, this would not be a repeat restaurant. It was decent, not super impressive but ok if you're looking for an easy sit down meal. The drinks were strong so that's a plus, the food was terribly under seasoned, a little over priced, and lukewarm when we received it. The restaurant was almost empty when we arrived so I didn't understand the lukewarm food. Shrimp Egg roll appetizer was good but could have been better if not made soggy from all the sauces smeared all over the plate. Like I said before it was decent. The food was good. But they'll take your money. My man and I took my 12-year-old daughter out to celebrate her Achievements you get out the school year. Our sever was awful. We received help from everyone but our serve. He was busy at the bar watching the game yet he added a 20 gratuity instead of allowing me to pay what I feel your Services were worth. When we question the gratuity it was a problem. The Fake security guards comes to us aggressive about our money. Things could have got ugly. I will not be returning.

I would never go back there . The waiter was not friendly and I felt like my oysters were already scrapped for soups and other dishes . I payed for two small crab cakes that weren’t real and they oysters were only SPINACH AND PARMESAN CHEESE !! Mind you that this is the oyster after I got all the spinach and cheese out !! This is not ok !! Plus the 8 dollar gratuity charge !! I ordered take out !!
This is a place I greatly enjoy and there isn't often a wait. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because there have been times that the food quality has greatly differed. The seafood gumbo had great Cajun flavor. My other favorites are the seafood nachos and coconut shrimp. There is something for almost every taste which is great for larger groups or diverse palates.
Just go to the grocery store. 71 dollars for two catfish fillets, four sides and a double shot of Jack. Gratuity is automatically added to your bill no matter the size of your group. The spinach and broccoli were overcooked. Red beans and rice had cheese on them and onions. Tasted more like chili. Nope..nope…nopeFood: 2/5
The front desk staff at our holtel tried to warn us, but we didn't listen. We were placed on hold for several minutes when calling to place an ouder. We odered the shrimp egg rolls as we had in times past, but were sorely disappointed. We should have listened.They had very little shrimp and even less flavor.Food: 1/5

Went to take a friend from out of town for his birthday. I think Keith was the server. He was hands on and very knowledgeable of the menu and answered the many questions asked. Food was served hot and was goodFood: 4/5
