We booked a lunch slot today, and from the moment we arrived until we left, the service and food were fantastic! The Covid-19 customer protocols were well thought out, and the one-way system along with table service was not disruptive at all. I had the sirloin steak, which was one of the best I've ever tasted. My partner ordered one of the specials, the lamb, and described it as "one of the best main courses" he’s had in a long time. He mentioned that the prawn cocktail starter was a bit bland, but the main course truly stole the show! We will definitely return and highly recommend this place, which is ideally located with a great view.
This was our first outing since the pandemic, and we discovered this restaurant purely by chance! We couldn't have made a better choice. From the moment we booked to when we left, the experience was exceptional. Our group of five—three adults and two children—ordered a variety of meals and were all very pleased with our selections. The dishes were cooked perfectly and served in a friendly manner. The food was not just delicious but truly nourishing. When we received the bill, we were pleasantly surprised by the cost. It was my first time here, and it definitely won't be my last!
had the weekday lunchtime meal 3 curs for £15. excellent eating, very courteous staff, it was very quiet due to the time we went but still a good amount of staff before place to take care of the customers. beautiful outside surface and beautiful and airy feeling inside. we visited this pub years ago when the children were young and now they are all too cool to eat with mum and dad, we think this will be our new place to go for a teenager free afternoon
We started coming here after lockdown and have been back many times now! The service is great the staff have come to know us, and are very friendly. The service is always really good here and they are so welcoming especially to our little furbaby. They always have a fresh bowl of water for him! Good food, organised table service, clean and good value. We look forward to returning hopefully in December! B, L and C xx
The restaurant has a stunning ambiance, even amidst the current circumstances. Lucy provided exceptional service. My children had a great time and felt confident enough to order their own drinks and meals. A big thank you to Lucy!
One of my favourite places for a warm welcome and an attractive setting with good quality home styled food. A great outdoor place in the summer and a nice relaxing restaurant to hang out with good friends the rest of the year!
