After many enjoyable visits, we booked again for Sunday lunch on 22/10/2023 with our family and friends. The restaurant was busy and we were seated quickly. It took a while for the drinks and food order to be taken. The majority of us opted for the Sunday roast beef £20.95) a couple had the Toad in the hole £18.95) we also ordered a number of sides. The beef served on all the roasts was very fatty and gristly, the toad in the hole sausages were pink, cooked but looked raw, they needed browning! The vegetables were lovely, with the exception of the carrots they were solid, the cauliflower cheese was delicious! The Barn looks great once you enter the restaurant, very modern and well placed. Then came the food. Overpriced and bland. Starters Bruschetta had little taste. Main, I went for the spicy mexican burger from the specials menu, the soggiest waste of £21.00. Again no real flavour. The restaurant is above the farm shop so I was hoping for a real tasty experience, with the restaurant wanting to show off some of the goods on offer below. The restaurant is expensive but you expect that a a farm shop, but you would hope for something tasty. What a shame.
Great. this beautiful coffee shop is only set at the a45 and m42 it makes a great location, but in such a beautiful environment. it is on the berryfields farm shop (another great fund) and serves both fantastic smaller and larger meals, perfect for every appetit. the food is of the highest quality (many of it comes from the business that is produced locally) and the service is friendly and fast. the perfect small place for a pick up, family dinner or die for 'full English breakfast, the best they have ever tried!
Three out of five of us ordered the fish cakes and were very disappointed with the food. The poached eggs were overcooked, the kale was undercooked and tough to eat, and the fish cakes lacked any noticeable fish. Considering the price of £19.95 per portion, we had higher expectations for the quality of the meal. We expressed our concerns to the waitress, who was understanding but we felt that the food fell short of what we would expect from a professional chef.

this coffee shop was very easy to get from the nec where I visited an exhibition, it has a fantastic farm underneath that has many local foods. I had a full English that was amazing, the sausage and speck is also all your own witness, which is nice to know. the service was nice, not too in her face, but attentive all the same. I bring my wife back at this weekend to have a real load in the building. I might have to stick to the wallet!
10/10 as always! We love coming here as a family, especially for breakfast on the weekend. There was 6 of us adults, 2 kids under 2 we were all accommodated perfectly! The service food was amazing and one of the staff members, Ola, even brought my dad a birthday dessert over as she noticed that it was his birthday, which was a lovely touch. We will most definitely be back again x
The food at this restaurant is absolutely amazing. The service is top-notch, as always. My partner and I chose to celebrate her birthday here and we were once again treated exceptionally well. The staff always goes above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience. This is our favorite place to dine in the area. Keep up the excellent work, everyone!
We had a wonderful meal with a fantastic view. The pork belly was cooked to perfection, though it was only served with one potato. The portion sizes are on the smaller side but very delicious. The wine list is good, with the Merlot being a decent choice.

Visited for Sunday lunch and were disappointed by the lack of choice on the menu. No poultry option. Unfortunately the meal was very fatty and difficult for the children to eat. For the price that is charged, you would expect better.
We visited to celebrate a birthday in October 2023. The food, drink and service could not have been better. Well worth the drive through Storm Babet! Thank you.
