We've been to many fine restaurants, but this one outshines them all. It remains true to its Greek heritage and serves its dishes with a warm smile and thoughtfulness. Don't let its small size fool you; the "Eat Like a Greek" platter is a generous meal that can easily feed four for under $60. It includes lamb, chicken, Greek-style potatoes, olives, and Greek cheese, all served in a roasting pan, reminiscent of a comforting Sunday dinner at home.
And the octopus? If you're a fan, you absolutely must try it! This is my first review, and I even downloaded the app just to share my experience because this place truly deserves the praise. We will definitely be returning for that real food experie...
There are quite a few mixed reviews about this place. Personally, I think The Hellenic is a great spot, and I’ve always had a positive experience with their gyros. I find their Tzatziki to be excellent, which contradicts some of the other comments I've seen. The Greek salad is fantastic, and the pita bread is among the best you can find. My only critique would be that the pork souvlaki could use a bit more juiciness.
We ordered yiayia vefa to share between two and two bottles of fizzy greek orange juice. Chicken was succulent, tasty and full of flavour. There were 4 pieces of small pita, my only complaint is that there werent enough pita in the lot! Otherwise it was a very enjoyable meal. Service and staff were very friendly and efficient. Will definitely return to try everything on the menu!
Ignore the low rating this was exceptional for greek fast food. Had the souvla plate with chicken and pork, not dry or overly greasy and not been sitting around either. Seasoned well, fresh bread on the side. Chips with fetta and oregano were hot crispy fresh so damn good and massive serving. Service helpful and unobtrusive. I'd go back

I just saw a review from a guy saying that he was there at midday and asked for chicken and the had none. What a lie! I was there at midday and I had the most tasty chicken yeeros in Sydney. I can’t believe that people just like like that. The shop is fantastic, the food very tasty and the staff welcoming and friendly!
The best street Greek food I’ve had so far in Sydney! Highly recommended with finger licking food. Grilled octopus is a must as well as the eat like a Greek platter. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Warm and welcoming environment! Great experience overall. Definitely will go back!!!
One of the best Greek eateries in Sydney. The food is just amazing!!! I mean the flavours are the same that I have tasted in Greece! Staff is friendly and the prices very reasonable!!! I would strongly recommend it to everyone that loves Greek food!!!
Good greek traditional souvlaki. Generous portions and good imagination on the names .. recommend the 'magas ' and the fries with feta. Would prefer hand cut chips though ...
